The Cavapoo is a mixed breed that combines a Poodle’s intelligence with the loving nature of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

While mixing an aristocratic English breed with a French duck-hunting waterdog might seem odd, the Cavapoo turned out to be the perfect family companion.

This is a small breed with a big heart.

Their low shedding coat also makes them perfect for people with allergies. This mix brings together the best features of the Poodle and the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. They are loving and eager to please.

Generation

F1 or First Generation is a 50/50 mix and can be Cavalier bred to a miniature poodle or toy poodle. This pairing is low to minimal shedding and allergy friendly.

F1b or 2nd generation is an F1 Cavapoo bred back to a poodle. This results in a F1b being 25% Cavalier and 75% Poodle. These pairings produce the most hypo-allergenic and non-shedding dog.
